Pictures: Royal Wedding party at Union Jack's in Columbia
Sure, it was still dark outside when Union Jack's restaurant in Columbia, Md., opened its doors at 5:30 a.m. in the morning, but who cared? More than 100 royal-wedding fans braved the early hours to dine on scones, fried eggs and beans and sip tea and mimosas, all in honor of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. They gasped when Kate showed up in her flowing, V-neck wedding gown, laughed when William had trouble slipping the ring on her finger and applauded as the couple walked hand-in-hand down the aisle of Westminster Abby following the ceremony. Short of actually being there, could there have been a better way to enjoy the wedding of the century?--Chris Kaltenbach
